A collaborative referral partner for complex obesity care
OHC works with referring doctors, GPs and specialists to support patients living with obesity and obesity-related health conditions. Our goal is to provide multidisciplinary assessment, treatment guidance and long-term support, while supporting continuity of care with the doctors patients already trust.
When to refer
A patient may benefit from referral if they:
- Have obesity-related health risks
- Have type 2 diabetes, hypertension, reflux, sleep apnoea or joint pain
- Have struggled with sustained weight loss
- Are considering weight-loss medication
- May qualify for bariatric surgery assessment
- Need post-surgery aftercare
- Have weight regain after previous treatment
- Need multidisciplinary support
